Prayer request for the soul of the sweet mother of a very dear friend of ours who passed away today.
She gave birth to the only true genius I have ever come to know.
And she was a reader of this blog: may her memory be eternal!

I take Grandpa Bob to the neurologist. They said he had an ice-pick migraine when we were in the ER on Sunday and they ordered steroids>>>the med did make him feel better but he suffered from the stabbing pain in his head all yesterday afternoon
and he wouldnt let any one take him to the hospital, and he still refuses the sacrament.
Hasnt gotten to Mass for several days either and refused to have me take him today. Oh well God is in charge. John Western is Commander in the Navy and is taking a field hospital into Haiti today
I hooked him up with MN Friends of the Orphans priest Fr Rick Frechette who is also an MD and home based in Haiti in his orphanage and hospital(someone from MN gave him a million dollars for a hospital he has had built outside port au prince. One never knows who will enter John's life and bring him back to the Church.
