Believe In Your Purpose
Where would we be without faith? The awesome ability to believe, even when the odds are against us, thereby altering the very condition of our lives and that of others, is astounding its both its potential and effect. When we believe that God has given us a purpose for being, and pursue that purpose with a passion, a drive, a bold determination which refuses to recognize or accept failure, we will find ourselves seeing magnificent things manifested, sometimes beyond our wildest dreams. Faith works and is vital to all true success and godly endeavors.
God, the author of faith, gave each of us the ability to believe. We can choose to accept what He says in His Word, (The Bible), or we can decide to be moved by what we see in this natural, physical realm. Faith, (the ability to believe God and what He places in our hearts to do), comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. (Romans 10:17 King James Version of the Bible)
So faith is the result of receiving truth. For example: Philippians 4: 13 says, “I can do all things through Christ, which strengthens me.” This is what the Bible says. Now I must believe it. I must believe that Christ gave me the strength to do whatever He puts in my heart to do. So, if God tells me to write books, then I can do it through Christ. If God tells me to sing, then I can do it. If God tells me to start a business, I can do it. If it is placed in my heart to accomplish anything, and it is good, wholesome and does it contradict God’s Will, then I can do it.
It is vital to my success that I believe what God’s Word says about me, if I am to really succeed and be victorious in my life‘s purpose.
Faith is believing what the Bible says, regardless of how I feel, or how things appear. It is really calling things which be not, as though they were. It is standing on what the Sacred Scriptures say until what the Bible says become my reality.
Every true purpose from God has to be walked out by faith. It does not matter what the God of Heaven and earth places within our hearts to do, if we do not believe, we will not have the inner strength and fortitude to stand in the midst of the various challenges that will be faced. Just because we carry a Divine purpose, does not mean that we will not have battles to fight, fears to over-come, hurdles to jump over and distractions to deter from. Faith is what will enable us to win. Faith will cause us to conquer. Faith will give us the strength and courage to carry on.
So grasp your faith in your dream, your Divine purpose and continue to take bold, determined, consistent and progressive actions toward your goals. All shall be well if you refuse to quit. Have faith in God. Have faith in what He has given you. And have faith in yourself.
