Dream In Achieving Success
We all have a desire to achieve success and reach our goals and ambitions in life. This desire to achieve is fuelled by the intense need to be better than we are today. Unfortunately many of us live way below the lofty ideal we envision for ourselves. With a lack of success in life, most people despair and give up on their hopes and dreams. As a result we let go of that picture of us accomplishing something great and we begin to accept what people say and think of us.
Sadly many people give up on their dreams completely by starting believing that they were not meant to live their dreams. For most people, this process begins when they start to lower their expectations of success in life, which slowly erodes the fabric of their ambitions and long cherished ideals. Eventually, these people start to settle for less and rationalize their acceptance of mediocre standards.
As a young boy, I was one the shyest and socially awkward persons you could find. However, I dreamt big dreams. I dreamt of being on a stage with addressing a crowd of thousands of people. In spite of my introverted disposition, these dreams did come to reality when I won national accounting award and graduated with a 4.0 GPA as valedictorian of my graduating class. My dreams did come true as I saw thousands of people listening to my speech, as the crowd attentively listened to my message.
The realization of seeing that dream manifested propels me to inspire others, motivating them that their dreams can become a reality. In spite of the challenges which face us in life, we all have a choice to believe the seemingly impossible. We can all choose to see what others don’t, hold on to what so many let go of, and pursue our goals with vigor and vitality.
To remain true to your course, it is vitally important to keep your eye on the prize. It is essential to focus on what lies ahead and not what has happened in the past. You must pursue action with unflinching belief, fueled by an intense desire to serve as many people as possible.
Your commitment to pursue God’s vision for your life will help guide you when things become uncertain. In other words, your commitment will come from your calling, as you reflect on why you chose to pursue your specific goal. Your vision will help you maintain perseverance when uncertainty surrounds you, hope when circumstances are negative, and motivation when you’re low on confidence and strength when you’re down on your luck. Today is a new day. Choose to win by focusing on what you do have, rather than on what you don’t have. Your future will be crafted by what you do today! Change your future today!
